Contact usThis one-day course provides refresher training for existing RPS. It is designed to build on an individual’s experience of working with ionising radiation and to demonstrate the practical application of current legislation and associated guidance
The course ends with a written assessment and issue of a certificate for successful delegates. By the end of the course delegates will understand the role of the Radiation Protection Supervisor and the legal obligations of radiation employers and be:
- Familiar with the requirements of the Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017.
- Familiar with the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2016.
- Capable of carrying out risk assessments related to their work with ionising radiation.
- Capable of drafting local rules and contingency plans.
